The Punk Syndrome is a film about Finland’s most kick-ass punk rock band, Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät. The band mentally handicapped members, Pertti, Kari, Toni and Sami, play their music with a lot of attitude and pride. We follow these professional musicians on their journey from obscurity to popularity. We watch them fight, fall in love and witness long days in the recording studio and on tour. It’s a film about the essence of punk – it’s a story of handicapped people rebelling against the mainstream.

NEITHER THE VEIL NOR THE FOUR WALLS

The feature film “Neither the Veil nor the Four Walls” is a road trip thriller inspired by true events in Pakistan. It is about a young mother who is on the run with her eight year old daughter to save her from an arranged marriage to a warlord. On the road, she meets an adventurous truck driver, Sohail, who helps them escape. A forbidden love is kindled between Sohail and Allah Rakhi. As Allah Rakhi reaches Lahore, the pursuers catch up with the absconding mother and a tragic sequence of events lead to her death.
